July 14, 2018

To all parents and guardians:

I am excited to announce that I am now the new Principal of Elysian Fields Middle School. We also have a new Interim Assistant Principal, Ashley Soudelier. Please come by to see us at our annual Meet & Greet, which will be held on August 2, 2018 from 3 PM to 4 PM. At this time you will also be able to receive your student's schedule and meet his or her teachers for the new year. We will also have available to you the bus schedule and our suggested school supply list. There is a link on this page to the list. We hope to see all of our returning and new students!

We are quickly approaching the end of summer break and anticipating the opening of school. Students return to school on August 6, 2018. All Elysian Fields Middle School students are expected to wear khaki pants, skirts or shorts with a white, navy blue, or royal blue collared shirt. Pullover hooded sweatshirts, or long-sleeve sweatshirts/sweaters that are black, white, khaki, gray, or the designated school color (EFMS colors are navy blue and royal blue), will be permitted. Sweatshirt/sweaters officially sanctioned by the school are acceptable (these will be sold through the school)More information about school uniforms can be found on the TPSD website: http://www.tpsd-la.schoolloop.com/uniform.

We will also have a back to school dance Friday, August 10, 2018. DJ Juice will be turnin' it up from 6 PM - 8 PM in the EFM cafeteria. We will be selling snacks, pizza, nachos, drinks, and more in our snack shop. Please mark your calendars for this fun filled evening!
